TaylorMade R9 SuperTri Driver

The TaylorMade R9 SuperTri driver combines the best of the original R9 driver with the best of the R9 460 driver to deliver a club that offers a maximum sized driver that delivers incredible distance and wonderful forgiveness. As well as boasting the maximum 460cc head the R9 SuperTri also features the winning combination of Flight Control Technology (FCT) and Movable Weight Technology (MWT).
When the R9 and R9 460 were released TaylorMades engineers had not yet discovered a way of combining the best element of both clubs. Now they have and the result is the R9 SuperTri. To allow a 460cc club head to accommodate both Movable Weight Technology and Flight Control Technology TaylorMade had to find a way of saving weight and they have managed to do this by using their own Ultra-Thin Wall technology more effectively throughout the club and reducing the weight of the Flight Control Technology mechanism by some three grams.
